Conclusions

  1. The MD and TD yield strength of the once-formed tube is 25-30% greater than the extruded laminate PBL tube (A,B), making it more rigid.
  2. 60% HD one-formed tube and aluminum-plastic ABL tube(C) have the same yield strength, so the mechanical properties and hardness are equivalent under the same thickness.
  3. Compared with the extruded laminate PBL tube(A,B) of the same thickness, the one-formed tube has greatly improved water-blocking and oxygen-blocking performance.
